ThAt Hurt!

If people think that playing virtually in front of the screen does not hurt, they are wrong. I am sore everywhere from playing these sport games in front of the Kinect. It was fun!

The old lady stopped shouting at her husband the last 2 days. Someone came and told her she shouted too much and too loud. Funny thing is she also found other things noisy…

SuMMer Spending!

I bought a Xbox 360 / 250 Gb with 3 games for 199 Euros. I am very impressed with the Kinect technology: voice recognition and motion detector. Fun to play with and you can impress people with the motion detector. You can also post your recorded videos online! I am having a headache trying to control this new gadget. I also bought recently an Acer 24′ flat screenfor for 178 Euros. My laptop screen is a bit small and it gave me headaches. Finally, I bought a Seinnheisser 205 headphone for 35 Euros.

Total Summer spending: 412 Euros.
Since I am not going anywhere, why not invest in new technology :)! When I was at the cashier, there was a kid who looked enviously at my Xbox (No no no, It is all MINE!). I wish I still had that look for games! It is  a bit different nowadays I have to compare online and look for the best.

Now let’s learn how to dance with Dance central 2! Do not wait for videos of me on Youtube! They will be deleted as soon as they are made!

It will just be a relaxing week for me. I am not going anywhere besides spending time shopping/playing/sleeping …answering some emails for work. I actually like my vacations this way. Relaxing!

I do not like being too far away from my computer and I enjoy my everyday routine. Going somewhere means lots of disturbances. I proposed to my little cousins to join them for the weekend. I guess they are busy and it was not a good time. Such is life!

So the brother and the sister from Senegal had a noisy visit yesterday from the owners. It appears that they have not paid their rent for 6 months. I thought I was in troubled water with my 2 months late payment. I told this story to one owner living in our building and he was very surprised. He said he would go crazy if something like this happens to him. I told him that life is all about business and there is no easy money. If you decide to invest money in stock options, apartment/house to rent, you have to be prepared to accept the consequences. There is no easy money in life after all. He said so there is nothing owners can do? In fact, they can go to court but it is a long and painful process with no win in the end because most of the time, the person who can not pay his rent does not have money to make any payment. Owners will be told that it is their responsibility to check and to get proper insurance by the judge.

Should we cry on the rich owners who have too much money and who want to make extra for their retirement? Maybe when I will be an owner, I will think about that!

I went for a run early in the morning as usual then I stopped and stretched my legs at the intersection after a small hill. I witnessed a collision between a runner and a biker. The runner tried to leave quickly after getting back on his feet and making sure the biker was not injured. The biker held him back and started saying he wasn’t finished with him yet and there might be insurance …etc. I thought they would fight or something but the biker stayed quiet and endured the biker’s anger.
Something weird happened. They got closer to where I stood and somehow I took the place of the runner and I tried to fix things up since the runner was extremely shy and a bit shocked by the event. I did not say much but things like: “I saw everything and the runner did not see you, he had earplugs with music”. The biker immediately said “yes, but he turned and he should check” or “he shouldn’t even run here the path is for bikers”. I never tried to counteract or whatever. I just let him unleash his anger and then I said “It is hard to use the other path you know because it is always wet”.
I tried to explain to the runner also the message saying “I know your bike is very expensive, I have a friend who owns something that expensive”. The biker immediately said “it cost 6000 euros”. Somehow, the discussion let him get his anger out and got his mind back to reason. He kept insulting and everything but he was happy he got it all out.
His anger was more about the bike that was expensive than the collision or the runner mistake. Anyways, I could calm him down and both of them were thankful that someone who was not involved in the act was there to try to solve things. The biker could not be angry against me and the runner was just quiet.

The biker let the runner go and they both said goodbye to me. Happy ending!

Weird weird feelings: Anger emptiness depression! These feelings come back at an intensity sometimes. I find everyday life a bit boring and meaningless. It is not that I have some suicidal desire or whatever. It is just plain observation.

In My Building!

Here is the group:

The blonde: she was the first one I met. She is nice and works as a dental technician. She has a BF who is currently looking for a job.

The mixte couple: they are the only owners in the building. Hard working people in their late 20s. He is french and works for a duty free store at the airport, she is working for a store in Paris.

The brunette:  She always has too much make-ups and her tight fluorescent pink outfits make her look like someone desperately looking for attention. She works for a car rental company.

The sister and the half-brother  from Senegal: I rarely talk to the sister who works at some strange hours, I think she works as a cleaner. The brother is looking for a job. They both are in their late thirties.

The old lady: she is very old but has a clear mind. She is always waiting for a car to take her to the hospital. Her daughter is the owner of her apartment. She lives next to the bruntte and has started to complain about noises.

The salesman: he lives next to me and is waiting for his wife to come later. He is a nice dude who works in some sort of sales for exhibitions. He told me that he does not have a regular income.

The man in a suit: He seems to be in his mid-forties.  I think he is a divorced dude and I have met his daughter. He is usually dressed in a suit for work. he avoids any conversation with people living in the building so I do not know much about him.

The couple from Tunis: he is in car sales and I do not know about her job. They have a big family and I see quite often their young relatives. He is always repairing cars he sells.

The mother and her young daughter: She is a divorced woman living with her young daughter. I do not know if she has a job but she seems busy with social life.

The noisy dude: he always let the door bangs that is why I call him noisy but he is very quiet and does not talk to anyone either.
