The ending song is a beauty: LINK

Give it 20 sec and you shall love it!

It is coming and its intensity is strong. I got a problem at my left foot so I cannot run to release the depression. I will have to row and to bike.

The maze dreams, the lack of sleep, the “why” and the “what if” questions.

My brother and I were 9 and 8 years old respectively when we arrived to Paris. We did not speak a single french word. What would happen if we had the same start as my sister and my cousins? We would probably be more integrated like they are. I am not sure that we would be better at school, it was a huge effort to learn a new language but we were still young enough to do so.

I did waste a lot of energy trying to break free from my vietnamese heritage. I traveled a lot and I ended learning another new language. Finally, I wrote this blog in English :). In fact, I only work and play games in English 90% of the time.

My mother asked what would happen if my brother dies regarding the apartment they bought together. I told her that it would be a “JACKPOT” financially speaking for them :). Indeed, the insurance would pay it all. I am not sure if the insurance would do it right away allowing them, for example, to sell it back, get the money and buy something else smaller and maybe get some benefits. I would have to look further on internet.

I managed to find the optimum setup for the scanner and the pictures are at their highest resolution (no loss in quality). 5 min for a each scan so it will take some times to finish the full album.
In 1984, we arrived at a camp for refugees in France. We had nothing. Few months later, we moved to this building near a city called Osny and 4 small rooms of 3×3 were given to our family. We lived there with few other families. My dad was holding my sister in the common kitchen (2nd photos). We did not have a washing machine so we hung my sister’s clothes on her bed :). It was probably 2 years after arriving to France (1986). In the last picture, I took my shoes off because they were too small for me. I liked them so I kept them but I had to take them off every 10 minutes to release the pain. Our clothes and our shoes were always too small or too big since they were from charities.

I am planing on scanning all pictures of the family and I came accros this very first image. True beauty defies time and technique when it is captured at the right moment. I did not really like my grand-mother (from my father’s side) but I do see where we get some of our pretty genes from. To be more precise, I did not like any of my grand-parents. They never directly hurt me or anything but the conflicts they generated amongst themselves usually forced people, not directly involved, to be on one side or the other, collateral annoyances most of the time for people related to them. They were the kind of conflictual in-laws you’d see in movies (very typical). They were also a financial burden meaning that my parents have to send them money or to support them until their deaths and, of course, it created tensions (very typical also). Nowadays, my family rarely interacts with my sister’s in-laws, maybe that was the consequences of what they’ve endured before and they did not want to reproduce the same dramas. There were, of course, other barriers, such as language and culture. In my case, it is better for me to avoid everyone because I have a horrible character :).

I should admit I have mixed feelings about my niece’s look. She seems cute like any little baby. She does not look asian nor caucasian. My hope is that her look will come from her asian genes. She can have the brain from the other side but I keep my fingers crossed for the look. I am not even sure the brain should come from the other side. If it was my choice, I would rather pick the brain from the asian side also! At the moment, I am not too impressed no matter what my parents said. I like her eyes, sharp and piercing black eyes! The rest is rather neutral at the moment. Where is the hair, is she BALD? LOL!
I found all my little cousins rather common when they were young but they turned out to be very pretty young ladies 🙂 in the end!

It is my very first contribution to something I use quite often, almost everyday: Wikipedia.
I’ve changed a bit and I think that we need to contribute a little bit to usefull things that help us everyday.
Wikipedia deserves my money!

Guardians of the galaxy was cool:

Guardians.Of.The.Galaxy.2014.R6.720p.HDCAM.x264-JYK

is available on IRC, however the sound is bad. I did enjoy the whole movie except for the 2 dancing parts. The actor is not really good at dancing!

I am always extremely carefully when talking to my sister. I know that her “apparent naive remarks” do hurt afterwards.

1. About Kids!
I do not really want kids, what I want, and it is very strange to say it this way, is part of my own genes to be transmitted. I never really liked the idea of having kids because I see them as a growing problem and a 25 years contract non negotiable. I am very protective so I think that if I ever had kids I would not be a bad father.

2. Couple
When I look at people around me especially “couples”. My sis and my cousins … all I can say is “not for me”. When I saw my sister buying her house, I immediately knew it was the right thing to do. When I attend their weddings, the only real question that came to my mind was … “how long will it last?”.
