This new method of payment allows me to pay my purchases that are below 20 euros without scanning my card and entering a code. I tried it three times but it did not work and finally someone told me that I needed to hold my card in front of the detector until the 4 lights turn “blue”. I did not keep my card in front of the detector long enough previously. It was fun to play with this new payment method.

I was a bit surprised to see my bank account debited twice by the tax collector. Luckily, they immediately reimbursed the excess. The whole confusion was my fault. I saw that they wanted to charge me 1/3 of my tax therefore I switched to a monthly payment. So it was a bit confusing for their system.

My legs are now hard as steel: 30 kms / week! I tried not to push too much and I kept a regular rhythm. After I ran up the stairs, an old woman who did the same said that it was “beautiful” to be young, I made her laugh when I told her that the climb did hurt me very much as well.. She had a warm laugh.

I ran 3 times 10 kms last week. My body is a bit sore. The trees are blossoming and it is nice to see the new green leaves and the flowers.
I was shocked when I came to help Malika with her administrative paperwork after her minor surgery. She wanted to make copies of her paperwork. She had a tiny bone removed from her front foot and it was replaced by some screws. I saw the photo of the bone-screw and it looked almost perfect. However, she was limping like an old woman and she is 10 days younger than I am. I am glad that I do not suffer anything that requires surgery and that I can still run 10 kms.

I learned a new word while reading the plot of this movie: The Lobster.
“Dystopian” is the opposite of “Utopia”: something that is undesirable or frightening.
After further reading, I finally understood the meaning of this movie. I needed to accept the logic of the movie: “undesirable or frightening”. There is nothing such as happiness in a dystopian society. The characters, in this movie, only try to achieve more pain to themselves and to others.

Another one also refreshing, not happy lyric again:
7 Years by Lukas Graham.

The lyric means something else than the refreshing effect it creas when you listen to this tune:
I took a pill in Ibiza by Mike Posner
Chorus:
But you don’t wanna be high like me
Never really knowing why like me
You don’t ever wanna step off that roller coaster and be all alone
……
Darling, all I know are sad songs, sad songs

Too much food wasted! I tried to empty the fridge meaning throwing leftovers away. I cannot eat twice food that I ate. That is a very bad habit of mine. It is so much cheaper to buy enormous portion of food that I will never eat :(.

Since the story about the “arranged” wedding, I noticed that there were at least 3 “arranged” weddings in the building and 3 “recomposed” families (kids from previous marriages). The kids are quite normal besides the “fat” kid.
Compared to the two brothers who came politely asking for help with their broken computer, I do not like much the kids in my building. Kids, who don’t have what they want, tend to behave aggressively and there is always this look in their eyes: the “needing” look. They are quickly aware of the burden of money because their parents are very poor.
One day, I was walking to the train station and a girl, maybe 5 years old, came and asked me for money. I avoid most kids in my building because they all have the same look as this 5 years old girl.

At 45 years old! It seems like an impossible dream but if you think hard about it maybe there is a way! When everyone else is thinking about their burdensome retirement, I am trying to make it happen as early as possible. Unlike many people around me, I noticed that I do not work much in my life and I still get by so there MUST BE A WAY.
