So I read my sis’ xmas wish list for her kids. I am happy to know that my nephews already had almost everything she and her husband wanted for their kids.
I closed my eyes and I saw myself back when we arrived in France in 1984, I was 8 years old. My brother and I were sent to a storage room on a bus before Christmas so that we can pick up a toy given by charities. I do not remember what I had that day… All that I could remember were the big boxes of toys on display.
Today, I chose the toys that this kid wanted in that storage room because the memory of that kid lingered in my mind.

It is time to catch up with some people I have not met for a while. I will attend the family reunion for Christmas this coming Saturday. Hopefully, the food will be as good as it was before!

I finally found the courage to do a technical control of my Toyota Yaris. I expected the brakes to be replaced but it turned out that the 2 front tires (worn-out) and the front wipers needed to be replaced: 256 Euros. I knew everything was OK but I did not want to take any risk if I am taking my brother or any member of my family for a long trip to Belgium.
Thanks to Groupon, I only paid 39 Euros for the check-up and a second check-up in my case. Initially, I wanted to replace the brakes. It was wiser to check and then repair or maintain.

I was about to throw away many invoices I had from my purchases: my TV, my desktop, my screens, my bike. However, I realized that if there was a fire in my apartment, I would need these invoices to get re-imbursed!
I scanned everything I have to save them onto my cloud space!

It feels great! My brain and my body were refreshed after each of these long runs.

- Spend for others: I helped people and gave money to homeless people time to time
- Make a list of positive things: I write a blog
- Try new things: I tried new cooking recipes and I grow mushrooms for fun
- Anticipate a reward: I am waiting for the right time/price to buy the Samsung S8+
- Decorate with “blue”: I prefer white
- Have goals: win the legal battle
- Stop defending your point of view: I go my way instead
- Sleep 6 hours per day: Done!
- Have a lot of friends: NO
- Drink Beers: YES

I prepared a special gift for all people living in this building, I doubled everyone’s fees for the last 2 years: 300 Euros!
Indeed, I have come to a sad conclusion since people do not care. Therefore, I have to talk to their wallets. It allowed me to clean, replace, maintain everything with their money. Of course, I paid 200 Euros myself due to the percentage, however, I have the lowest percent.

I found an easy way to eat healthy and excellent meals. I do not choose my dinner, I just bought prepared dishes ready to be cooked (not frozen or packaged meals). The most expensive ones are on sale the last day and they are perfect.

Luckily, I called ahead of my appointment with the ENT specialist (“ORL” in french) to check because he was sick and his secretary did not have my number to cancel the appointement.
I also had lunch with my ex-colleague yesterday. I enjoyed very much our little meetings, she seemed tired and not too happy. I did not ask questions regarding her daughter, probably a sensitive subject to avoid. She asked me to repair her laptop next week. I will just do a factory reset for her.
Everything happened smoothly to me the last 2 weeks and I am happy not to be bothered with annoying issues before Christmas.
I just want to hole up in my studio and play games.
