As I get older, I have to accept the fact that my body requires more care. I cannot eat the things I want (Asian food) if I want to stay healthy and keep the doctor away. My dad keeps going to the toilet because he keeps filling his stomach with food that his body can no longer digest. His mind keeps giving him orders he cannot resist.

Thanks to stress, my weight is down to 56.2 kg! Now, everything is under control. I just need a little bit of organization and preparation for next week, and everything will be okay.

I am looking for the miracle recipe to decrease my stress level. Teaching so many students is a real challenge in terms of stress management. I am glad I have a lot of nice students this year, private schools have better students in general because they come from richer parents.

Chagpt or Le Chat Mistral are now my most used AI for writing emails or letters. It is so much nicer to know that I will not forget a tiny stupid mistake 10 minutes of sending the email. It takes away all the stress related to communication and the feeling of insecurity. I also noticed that the form is so much nicer than the expression of my personality, the AI round up all the edges of my personality.

It was a little bit difficult to start my car recently and I did some minor maintenance: replacement of the glow plug (“bougie de préchauffage”), changed the oil and the oil filter, and finally a checkup of the alternator or the starter (“démarreur”). Yesterday it worked like a charm for no specific reason. I immediately thought about the additive used to clean up the injector. I did it like 3 times, maybe the chemical did its job and the injector was clogged!

I overheard an elderly Asian woman in the repair shop while waiting. The technician refused to repair her car, which wouldn’t run and was only a few streets away. They asked her to call her Toyota dealership. She was stuck and couldn’t express herself well enough in French. She kept repeating that the battery was faulty, but nobody seemed to care. I simply suggested she ask someone to jump-start the engine. I asked a kind man to help since he was part of the conversation and had mentioned having similar issues. Thirty minutes later, he confirmed that her problem was fixed!

A job opportunity at a private Catholic school came up, and I wanted to try it out and see the differences while preparing for my exam in 2025. I am a bit worried about the fact that I broke my contract with the public sector last year, as the private school is affiliated with the public sector regarding my contract. We shall see how things go. It is only 23 minutes by car from my place!
