Moussaka is a very good alternative to lasagna! It’s easy, healthy frozen food. It is quite cheap, so why not buy it instead of the more expensive options at the frozen section.

I am glad I did not talk, send any emails, or interact with anyone last week. The stress, sickness, and lack of sleep generated a lot of paranoia and incoherent behavior. I had a horrible, weird dream last night. It should be over now. It was like an outlet for my emotions.

I renewed my beloved gadgets in 2024: the iPhone 15 and iPad Air M2. It seems that I cannot escape the Apple ecosystem. I managed to control my impulsive instincts and waited for the right time to get the right deal. I avoided their premium prices.

I wanted to replace my iPad (2018 – 6th Generation), and along came a good deal! I had to trade in my old iPhone 12, and I received a €150 coupon plus a €137 refund, totaling €287. This brought the cost down to €720 – €287 = €433.

I desperately need some rest and sleep! Fortunately, I will have a long weekend to recover. However, I have to be prepared and avoid repeating the same situation as last week. So far, I have self-isolated and have had no complicated situations to manage.

My Garmin Fenix Pro has been showing me red warning signs all week. My sleep trend has been extremely poor. A combination of stress about my contract, falling slightly behind in my teaching, and an unexpected minor cough has contributed to a strange mental state. I’ve been waking up in the middle of the night and having difficulty resuming sleep properly. I am functional, but I have been trying hard to avoid any delicate situations and have kept email communication to a minimum.

My main class, ‘2nd7’, has already completed 6 Multiple Choice Questions after 5 weeks with me. They told me that no other teacher has done any MCQs like I have. The students get their scores quickly and they also have the corrections online. I try to take away all the stress; I give them more time than required. All I want is for them to learn something.

Finally, my contract with this private school seems to have been normalized. I was a bit worried about my transition into the private teaching sector, especially given that they are under contract with our national public teaching system. Indeed, I left my last contract before the end of its term, refusing to complete a third replacement because it was too far away from my place.
