I used to love July the 1st. It is indeed the best day of the year in Australia for me since I get a lot of money back from the Australian government. This is the last time but I do enjoy it, even better than ever! So if I manage well, meaning I will not declare my ING interests, I will get around 1500 AUD back in few days. That’s the good event of the day! On another good side of the day, Claire’s sister is gone today and Rallez is going back to Sweden for a full week of vacation. The place will be very quiet for a week. 🙂
I pushed myself very hard this morning during the swim. That was fantastic! Lots of good swimmers next to my lane and in my lane also. Very nice! I had a small hang-over, too much Vodka yesterday. Usually it disgusts me from alcohol over a week.
I discovered that Clearasil works like a charm on my back. I tend to develop time to time a surge of zits when I am nervous or when it is hot. I have never thought of using it on the skin in my back: bye bye painful red zits!
I will have lasagna for dinner today.

The same person over the years. How strange to see myself changing this way! The first picture being taken just yesterday. I am glad I still have all this hair :)!

Asian food!
I feel like eating some asian food today. I am getting tired of Indian’s leftover. Enough is enough! SG, my french bank, is improving a lot! I can now make direct transfer to Claire’s Bank account and the owner bank without any fee. Which is GREAT! Claire’s new guests are almost perfect, I have not seen any of them so far, they arrived late and moved quickly away in the morning and they leave no trace of their passage… they’d perfect if they didn’t come at all :). They rented a car today and will be away I think. They will sleep here on Saturday and that’s it. Her sister is staying but she will stay in Claire’s room.

Article from Le Monde: “Le miracle Irlandais est bien termine“. This article shows how “lucky” I was when I made my move to Ireland. I have come so far to make a deep change in my life that I cannot stop now and take any IT job position! I need something more promising in term of evolution and salary!

Stupid events 2!
I lost my phone while returning a puma jacket to the store. The phone was in the jacket pocket!
Jacket returned: +65 Euros
Lost phone: -75 Euros
New phone: -69 Euros (bonus 60 euros free call deal on the new phone)
Sim card number transfer: NO Free call deals! DAMN! So stupid!
Claire, my second flatmate, is having 3 guests from Thursday until Saturday. Her sister will stay until Tuesday. I guess I will be staying in my room most of that time. I talked to Coura for a while today. She is finishing her contract and has to go back to Senegal soon. What a shame! The turmoil in the US business market has affected her alot!

12 Weeks in Ireland!
Time is getting loooong! I am waiting for the school answer. I have posted tons of applications and I am tired of keeping count of them. There are signs it is moving but not in the direction I want to. As soon as I get the school application then I will know what to do next.
It’s raining outside!

People and me!
So I told my flatmate I would not go to the wedding and take pictures of strangers. Things immediately got chiller! Social behaviors always got me into troubles. He had to pay 80 euros to someone to take these pictures. It seemed that he promised to the couple special photos on my behalf! It’s been over 6 hours now and he has not come home yet! I am so glad I did not go! It would have been a bad day!
I slept for 3 hours after the swim and woke up at 12 pm. I went out and had a burger king meal and then I wandered around in the shops. Funny day! I had fun using my credit card again. I will always keep 2 credit cards with me from now on! They are indeed very convenient! Tonight a nice football game and a good dinner from yesterday’s leftover. No swimming this Sunday or next Monday, there is a gala! 🙁

Visa card #2
In less than one month and half, I had received two visa cards! So unlucky! Every time I go to a new country, I always run into one single strange problem that keeps on repeating itself over the time and that annoys me. In Australia, it was the rental agent, a real nightmare, and in Ireland, it’s the banking system. No matter what I do, I am sure it will come back to annoy me whenever it can. So now, I am keeping at least 200 euros cash in a safety box just in case.
To kill time, I keep myself busy in weird ways that I won’t mention. It’s kind of funny though…I am trying to find an excuse for not attending the wedding tomorrow. In normal times, I usually avoid these events, I do not want to piss my flatmate off but I see no real reasons for attending this wedding. I get nothing out of it, I do not know these people and worse of all, it will take at least 4 hours and knowing my flatmate it will be longer!
I might just say, I have a meeting with an agency tomorrow! OR I just say the truth, I do not want to go! Seriously, I have never met these people and the fact they do not have a fancy camera is not my fault, they can just borrow one of these cameras from other people! Besides, it’s their personal business and they did not make arrangements before, so why should I care? It’s not because I have free time that I want to attend weddings from strangers.
Take a bus for an hour to go to Dublin 2, wait for 3 hours to take pictures of strangers then go back home by bus… probably 5 hours in total…really not something I want to do!
