It was really nice and I enjoyed the wedding. I should have learned to dance properly. I will fix that as soon as I get back from Germany. It is my priority #1.

The really nice goodies to remember:

My cousins’ speeches, their little games, the very nice powerpoint with Diane and Jonathan’s lives next to each other and the wedding’s surprise with the balloon heated by hot air released in the air.

Comparing Anne’s wedding to Diane’s wedding is a tough call. Diane played heavily on the sentimental side of her origin, Vietnam. It was the central theme around which many speeches were built on. Anne’s wedding was lighter. The difference reflects the sequence of their birth. Anne is the 3rd born in our family and Diane’s the 1st in her family. Usually, the first born is very sentimental and has the burden of the parents’. My brother is very much like Diane.

Little weird things I noticed:

My mom’s dress, my bro’s jean, and the heavy metal sequence!

Two days ago, I heard cries upstairs from the sister from Senegal. Something must have happened. Maybe a death in the family. It was the curiosity of our neighbors. I was impressed that many people from Senegal stopped by to comfort her. White people around here were very suspicious.

There is a strong smell (musk/burned smoke) coming from their place. I wonder what kind of spice  or perfum they use to have this smell.

The old women in our building had a check-up at the doctor today. She had part of a pelvis removed due to a possible cancer development. She was happy she did not have to undergo chemiotherapy. Things seem fine for another 3 months.

And click on this song: Safe and sound by Capital Cities. I do enjoy it more without the video.

3 cars had broken glasses 2 days ago in our street and it has become a local drama; my neighbors talked about it and everyone is looking for ways to get a spot in the garage.

In fact, the small street is nice but the surrounding is not really nice. Anyways, it was an exciting moment for everyone to know that they can be in danger. I am bored so I welcome any weird event that would spice up my life.

I live in da jungle! :).

Yesterday, I went out to cut some branches that prevent the garage door from closing properly and a girl came and asked me how she could get a nice lawn like mine. I explained to her but also told her that it is the result of 8 months of hard work :). I am very proud of my lawn and many people around are impressed with the result.

Today, there was a gas leak somewhere in my street due to some construction works. The gas went off for security reason. The technicians went around to turn on the gas back, however for people who weren’t around they just left a note with instructions. People in my building were not there of course, myself included. I quickly read the note and turned the gas on myself. The old lady came and knocked at my door for help so did the brunette!

In the evening, an old man came and talked to me about internet for the lady in front of my door. He asked me all kind of questions about it as if I was a specialist. I did not solve the problem but I explained the reasons.

4 small deeds for a week! I will probably miss this street and its people when I leave. I hope they will miss me too. They all know I will leave soon anyways.

I would really recommend to anyone wanting to exercise these training programs with motion detectors. I am sore from waist to toe! The Kinect motion detector is really sensitive and corrects your moves as soon as you are doing something wrong. It is fun and not annoying at all. I will see if it lasts.

At least now, I am very tempted to get either the new PS4 or the Xbox One that will come out in November: comparison chart. The PS4 seems more powerful however I really enjoy the whole Kinect thing. I might buy both :)! I do not think I will go after the Iphone 5S. It does not look that different  from the Iphone 4S and I would rather buy a Samsung galaxy S4 or a newer product from Samsung (cheaper and more powerful).

I woke up at 10:30 am. It is rare that I sleep that much. I think I was mentally and physically exhausted by all these games. I have not tried the Kinect training yet but will do today!

The old lady on the other side of the street told me that on Friday there was some drama going on in my building. The owners of the place above mine were shouting at the brother and sister from Senegal. There were threats of direct legal actions on the sister’s salary. This will be problematic in the future. I will probably not be around to see the end of this drama.

I mowed the lawn yesterday, perfect timing for the rain yesterday night and today! My lawn looks beautiful and the neighbors envy it. It looks nicely green and it is very dense. I took great care of it.

I also bought: Nike + Kinect training (39.99 Euros) + Call of Duty MW3 (19.99 Euros) + Rayman origins (19.99 Euros).

I also got the Wii Mini (99.99 Euros) + Super Mario Bros (46 Euros).

Total Summer Spending on high-tech: 637.96 Euros.

I will stop right here I think! I have contributed enough to the economy and I enjoy at the same time what I did.

All I wanted to do is to be the little kid I was and to get whatever I wanted as games.

Portal 2 was the first game, I bought this game after buying the bundle Xbox 360. It was cheap and who would have guessed it was addictive. I am currently on chapter 2 at level 6/22. The first chapter was very addictive! It gives you a headache but you want to solve all the level for unknown reasons!

Fable the Journey was the second game I bought. It is the 4th of a serie of an epic game: Fable! It was cheap and I can play it on Kinect to try out. I do not think it is as good as Fable.
