I finished all my meetings and I am done. Now last afternoon + evening in Seoul. I will leave early tomorrow to the airport for my flight back home. Then 2 full weeks of vacation and I will not see anyone at work for 1 month and 2 weeks!!! That will be really nice.

GeEz! I think something is happening to me. I am working at 4 am on a proposal for a business partneurship with a publisher instead of playing WoW! I am modifying a presentation for today just for it! These things usually do not matter to me much before.
I must be getting old!

It’s been a week that I left Paris and I have not played WoW since then. I am surprised myself but I was quite busy between work and checking out Gangnam Street: it is funny for a geek like me to enjoy walking on this busy street amongst social weirdos.

uNexpected Surprise!

Something happened at the beginning of the week at work. Lisa, the person who got fired, our communication and marketing manager came and attended the Annual Assembly. It surprised everyone. She is sitting next to our future president and it shocked everyone but me.
Now everything is clear between us. We had a very nice talk and I told her how glad I am to see her again. She apologized sincerely for having misjudged me. I am deeply touched.
The future president is also trying to reach out and he is polite and very kind. I will have to learn how to deal with this new situation because I am in the middle of a very delicate conflict. My only solution to that is to disappear in all events and stay as far as possible from the battlefield :).

Unlike New York, Paris, Sydney or San Francisco, there are mainly asian people in Seoul (not white tourists). The K-pop culture is extremely strong on young folks: Girls wear tiny teenie pants that show as much leg as possible, guys wear funny earings. Everything is tight and colorful to attract as much attention as possible. However all that is so un-natural that it creates a different feeling: artificial at the extreme without natural beauty.
The priority number one here seems to look pretty!

I woke up at 9:20 and it took me some times to really get out of bed. I went to Gangnam street again at 12:30 and spent my day there: I saw very colorful people, I saw the fanciest shoe in the world, I saw a store full of modeling toys for anime characters, I saw the nicest subway ever with tons of anime adds!
Young Koreans people spend their time looking at their hair on their fancy tablets and each of them has one fancy tablet to use as miror!

Gangnam Street!

I spent my 2 evenings at Gangnam Street. Very crowded and lovely street with all the modernity and the restaurants. I tried 3 meals a day and I was a bit disapointed! Nothing really exciting. I will have dinner at the american “Outback” steak house tomorrow. It was a really good steack house in the US:

Seoul has not changed much since 2008. It is indeed my second visit after 6 years. I was at the Hyatt (5 stars) and now I am at the Sheraton Wakerhill (5 Stars). I enjoy both rooms with their charms. I prefer the Sheraton that has a river view. However, the Hyatt had the city center view. It was easier to walk around at the Hyatt. The Sheraton room has ambiance light and music with their own programs! You just hit the button and your bed becomes very fancy. Everything looks perfect. I do not know how I managed to get jobs that provide me with the opportunities to travel around. I went to check the city center quickly.
I am glad that Alisson thinks that I am lucky but I do not really think that way myself. I hope that Alisson will have the same opportunities or more opportunites. Here are few photos to show the lavish luxury in which I am at the moment.
