This time, the “couscous dude” had a tablet to unlock since his cousin typed in 3 times the wrong password. It’s quite simple however he bought a cheap tablet without the manual. There was nothing on internet related to his tablet therefore I had to guess the reset/factory setting sequence from other tablets.

He said that his cousin wanted to throw the cheap tablet away but he asked him to wait until he talked to me. In reality, I would rather throw away this kind of cheap material because they have tons of issues. I had pity of him when he admitted that he had no money to afford “branded” tablets. Besides, he only wanted to check Youtube with his tablet.

He offered me a piece of cake (leftover from his wife’s birthday, so he said …)
I should just call him Youtube man because it is his main usage of the internet.

My insurance is asking the other insurance to pay 1284.91 Euros to repair my car. If the other insurance agrees, it will issue a check to my name. It means that I can just cash in the money and not repair anything. The damage is hardly visible besides the rear mirror. I am very tempted to just keep the cash and only repair the rear mirror. My car is 7 years old and it already has 125 000 km on it so why waste the money? In two years, with or without the damage, its price will decline automatically anyway.

Tough choice! Wisdom would prevail I guess.
