Everything was working so smoothly since the last 3 weeks. I was in a good mood and I wondered if people could sense it. 3 strangers asked me for help naturally while I was shopping and two kids wanted a lift to some places. I kindly helped with a smile.
I did not annoy companies working for this building like I did last year. I just sent a short SMS saying: “please something has to be fixed, do it if possible within a week, thank you”. Last year, it was more like “Fix something NOW, please”. I had to remove 6 companies and verbally threatened all the others to achieve this goal.

Tons of chocolates were on sale, 50% off, and I did not buy any. I am really not into sweets either. Oysters and lobsters were also on sale but I was not in the mood. I had too much food over the holidays.

On New Year’s Eve, I received a SMS from the cleaning company asking me if they could take the trash bins out. I ordered the technician to move the bins back in because I was a afraid of people setting fires to trash bins and cars. It was a safe move and the building next to us did the same: Le monde LINK.

I had a family dinner with my parents, my brother and my sister’s family on New Year. The food was good and it was quite relaxing. Lyn and Tom were very comfortable with my parents. We played the board game, Stone Age (“l’âge de pierre”).
Seeing Anne and Fabien restricting their kids from TV made me smile. Thus, we came full circle and the snake bit its own tail…. Parents and their own children repeating these behaviors over and over.

siDe eFfEcts!

It was very nice to observe the side effects of the ab wheel: my chest and the muscles below my arms are hard as rock after a full week of 100 push-n-pull. Naturally, I wanted to do more :)! The belly is almost gone but there is this one layer of 10 cm with 1 cm of fat that is hard to get rid off. The upper of the belly immediatly responded to the exercises.
It is cool to get some results quickly, let’s continue the challenge.

Smooth and very relaxing run. I met few fellas on the way, probably the most courageous people. It is very hard for well trained long distance runners to stop running, they need their dose of dopamines.
Hélène, my cousin, intends to do a semi-marathon, 20 kms. I hope that she will achieve her goal because then she will never stop running. Sport can only make your body more beautiful, 6 kms per day of swimming gave me a nice lean body: Australia Cruise LINK

Marshall was an excellent movie: no guns, no actions … just a story to keep you entertained until the last second of the movie.
The Foreigner was not bad either but it was more expected from Jackie Chan.

4-7-8 tEcHnIQue!

There is a relaxation technique inspired by yoga that allows people to sleep and relax in less than 60 secondes. The simple fact of counting until 4-7-8 four times helps me eliminating all the negative thoughts. I am enjoying this simple method that seems working for me: LINK

cHaLlEnge!

1 single meal per day and tons of greenies plus 100-150 drils with the ab wheel. I want my stomach to be as flat as it was when I swam 6 kms per day. I do not need rock hard 6 packs just a fine thin stomach (no daddy belly).
I took a before-photo and I will see in 30 days if I get an after-photo once the challenge is completed. The only sad thing is that I will be throwing away tons of food.

I did a serie of 100 correct drills with the ab wheel. My whole body is sore since yesterday. I had to go all the way down and back up!
