I just received my paycheck and nothing was deducted from my salary. It simply means that I have got 16 days paid vacation for free from my company. My vacation and other privileges also increased as if I were still working. Yeeaaa! If I knew it before I would have made it last a month!
I will wait for my next paycheck to get confirmation. I would not want them to retroactively deduct these days in the coming months. However it was written “16 days deducted” and “16 days reimbursed” so they did not make a mistake nor did they forget in the paycheck.
What really happened and who paid for these days .. I do not know.

I am loving my new glasses I just received. I now have 2 corrections: myopia and presbyopia. It was uncomfortable to have to take my glasses off to read small texts.
I thought it would be hard because my dad complained so much. For me, it was instantaneous and I am loving this comfort. These glasses do cost 735 Euros all paid by Fedex private insurance :).

I received a positive answer regarding my red badge (security access to the airport). I sent the letter to HR today and hopefully my contract will resume normally.

During my week at my sis’ place, I enjoyed cooking but also eating vietnamess food from Paris 13th. I also played around with their ambilight TV setup.

My sister and her family went to Italy from Oct 17 Until Oct 23. I went to their house to get away and forget about the weird sistuation with my contract.
