I usually leave the house on Sundays around 11:00 am for a shopping tour that ends with a steak and fruits foraging. I skipt the steak today since I am getting fat. I need to lose 3-4 kgs. I think that the cheap and very tasty cantine at work is not helping but I will get more veggies and fruits.
I had strange dreams yesterday solving problems at work, it was so logical but I could not remember what the problems were when I woke up.

lOng dAyS!

Since I started this new job, I kept thinking that I would leave early. However, I learned quickly that, no matter what I do, I alsways ended leaving late. There is always something popping up in the last hour forcing me to deal with it. Anyways, today is Friday and i will enjoy the weekend ahead of me!
It is also the end of my trial period.

I started the day with tons of questions and one of which escalated as usual with high level people criticizing and it ended with this:
Pierre: Can you take care of this because Tom is not here?
I knew that my answer has to be perfect and 100 % right! I managed to get the perfect answer to 2 people and I avoided any escalation. ANSWER: There was a shutdown, nothing was wrong!

Luckily for me I have AC at work but drving back home at 40 degrees is kind of a limit even if I have AC in my car. I do not want any tachincal issues with my car at the moment.

I went shopping then I went to the restaurant where I ate my huge steak as usual. Then I went picking fruits and, finally, I ran my 5 kms. Everything went smoothly since I had 12 hours of sleep.

At the workshop in Amsterdam, I was glad I could connect to Internet using my phone connection and, combined with the VPN (virtual private network) from work, I could check my emails. They shared all their files using emails. It was tricky to ask for this VPN at work since there were a lot of complications due to the merging of 3 legal entities. Many new employees were stuck in the administrative maze and novolties. I was the first new employee who found holes in their system and managed to get through.
I was also happy that I had all the little things that bothered me last time: shaving creme and moisturizers.
It felt good to be back home and to relax for the weekend! The train in Paris was a bit chaotic and I forgot that they were doing some renovations and it disturbed my little plan to get home quickly! It took me 2 hours and half longer than predicted.

The stress is gone, I just listened to other people and I had time to make acquaintances. I enjoyed much more my business trip since I did the most difficult part. We finished around 16:15. I relaxed and went on my own adventure: discover Amsterdam!
