I am affected since Sunday night by this strange thing: Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV).
When I change the position of my head, brief periods of vertigo occured and they were extremely violent meaning that I could barely stand straight or walk. My eyes rolled like crazy inside its socket as if I was posessed.
Today, the doctor gave me a drug and I had to undergo doppler X-rays of my neck to see if there was any damages to my nerves. I did it and everything seems normal.
I requested to see the specialist (Oto-Rhino-Laryngology) tomorrow with all the results as an emergency.
I am afraid of lying down or standing up or changing the position of my head.
