I am much happier these days; self-control has been key to my mental health. I know when I am happy and healthy, and I can safely interact with others. My mind tends to send out raw emotions whenever I am hurt or not mentally fit. Many things no longer matter to me since I have no control over them. Talking about or stressing over them won’t improve my personal life, so I’ve learned to let them go.
