I probably delayed my recovery by overexercising 4–5 hours a day. I just find it incredibly boring to do nothing—I always want to walk around, browse shops, stretch, or hit the gym.

My left knee was slightly sore after the walk, so I’m resting for a few days to be safe. I don’t want to trigger my sciatica again. The good news is that this sciatica chapter is almost over!

I ended up with a black eye thanks to a stupid run-in with a car door. It faded after about a week, but the first two days were spectacular. It got quite a bit of attention—kids in particular were fascinated.

I love my light, very protective poncho that fits in my hand (9 euros). It was so nice to have it during these rainy days—without it, there would have been no walks at all.
