Applying exfoliating socks every three months to help remove dead skin from my feet. About two weeks after the treatment, my feet feel softer and smoother. Regularly applying creams alone isn’t enough to effectively remove the buildup of dead skin.

My physiological data are all over the place—probably a mix of the Actifed I took and the ongoing skirmish between the viruses and my immune system. Luckily it seems like a minor cold.

Flu done. Sciatica almost done. Strength is coming back—slow progress, smart movement, real rest. The long nightmare is almost over!

My body has been fighting off a strange virus I picked up somewhere over the past two days. I’m hoping last night was the worst of it.

It feels like the worst of my sciatica may finally be behind me. The pain has been minimal for three days now, and the unusual sensations throughout my body are progressively subsiding. I may soon return to walking normally, without anxiety about another flare-up.

Going to the toilet at the same time every day is great for your health. Doctors even call it ‘the poop train’!

It took me a few years to get everything just right, but this year my indoor chili garden was perfect: little work, highly productive, and beautiful to look at.

Finally, I enjoyed a long swim without any pain—just a wonderful feeling afterward. It proved to be the perfect way to burn my 600 daily calories, replacing walking or cycling while my sciatica continues to heal, hopefully faster!

Starting tomorrow, I’ll be going to the swimming pool from 9 to 11 a.m. since it’s open during the school holidays. I’m hoping that swimming every day will help my sciatica heal faster, as it puts less pressure on my legs and hips. It’s funny how I always return to swimming whenever I get injured […]
