Every day, I go for a ride and train on the public sports facilities available around the park at Étang de Cergy. It keeps me in great shape, and I am thankful to the people who set that up! Many people try to do pull-ups and can’t go beyond 10, but I regularly do three sets of 20 pull-ups each day.

My brother’s computer displayed a black screen after my dad cleaned it. I simply told my dad that there was no problem with the computer because there hadn’t been any problem before, so it was likely an issue with the HDMI cable. He struggled with it from Friday to Monday. Finally, it worked again on Monday with a new HDMI cable. My dad is very clumsy and he should avoid touching anything sensitive like computers.

Two weeks after his surgery to insert a stent in his artery, my dad played with fire by drinking. He has the same problems I do; he cannot stop and he becomes very aggressive after a few drinks. Of course, the inevitable happened. I stopped asking, making comments, or even talking about it. Each one has their own demons and craziness.

Ladybugs are the true heroes responsible for my success with chili trees this summer. Thanks to them, the population of aphids was perfectly under control, and I was not obsessively trying to get rid of them manually on each leaf and branch—a useless task!

I took my bike to Decathlon for maintenance because the gear shifter was jerky when riding on hills. It was just a minor adjustment that took 5 minutes, so I was not charged for it since the bike was purchased from that shop.

In the hair salon, I saw many older ladies with black-colored hair! It was quite strange. I overheard them talking about how they would look younger with a different style. To me, they all seemed quite concerned about the effects of aging. It was almost unsettling. I prefer my natural look, no extra effort nor time wasted.
