This year, I see no point in starting the chili tree indoors too quickly. Indeed, the aphids and all kinds of maintenance problems will consume all my time and energy, not to mention the electricity cost. I will probably start a month before summer, maybe at the end of February.

To stop the peak of stress spiraling around the sudden death of my Toyota Yaris, I had to take quick actions: schedule a pick-up for the car to be towed away to a garage or to be definitely retired for good.
Bad sleep due to interruptions in the middle of the night, followed by illogical thoughts and back pain in the morning, were the results!
Luckily, everything seems to be fixed in the afternoon. I simply did exactly what I was supposed to do: grading my students, preparing next week’s courses, shopping, and going for my routine workout! Sticking to a fixed routine seems to be the miracle solution no matter what.

The maintenance log of this Toyota Aygo: 2052 km in 2023, 1853 km in 2024, and the last check-up at 62 km (7 months later). The rich old lady did not drive much, and she made me a happy buyer! The exact words from the dealer over the phone were: “Mr. Tran, it is a unique opportunity that I have not seen in all these years as a vendor. Just buy it since it is better than anything you were looking for before, and I simply bought it!”

The Toyota Aygo connected to my iPhone 15 immediately. It was a perfect match between both systems, and it was able to follow Siri’s instructions on its own screen. My old Toyota Yaris broke down in the parking lot near Basic-Fit/Lidl. I ended up walking home around 5:13 PM. I guess it’s time to let my Yaris go; it’s not worth pouring more money into it.
I noticed that I bought a few things without much research, just relying on my past experience with the same brands: my iPhone 15, my iPad M2 2024, my Toyota Aygo.
