bUllshit jObs!
I smiled when I read this article in “Le Monde” about meaningless jobs (“bullshit jobs”). I could almost paste every single “stupid” thing described in the article to my previous job: idiotic meetings, novlangue = fancy wording to describe Excel spreadsheets, new targets each year with new goals for just an administrative job that doesn’t create anything new :).
However, most people will never admit that they have a “bullshit job”, they will try to find comfort and justifications to their paychecks. I immediately knew and I always found the tasks meaningless and boring.
My future job is also described in the article: some kind of “social job” that would justify and motivate me to wake up every morning and enjoy what I do for the world.
