aNothEr Long Run!

Finally, I found the courage to make another 10 kms run to check on my health. The weather has been really nice so it was hard to resist any longer.

The first 2 kms were painful but, as my body warmed itself up and started to get into the rhythm, it has become really nice. After 4 kms, I started to speed up a bit and I was glad to be able to overrun few “untrained” runners. One dude, who only trained to be big, realized quickly how easy it was for me to overrun him in less than 10 min. I could hear the heavy breathing, the lack of stamina and training in endurance while overrunning him.

Happy Happy …. Now I need a concentrated dose of magnesium. My legs and my lower body will be sore tomorrow! I wish my feet were in better shape. If I keep this rhythm, I’d hurt my feet and I have to stop again for few months.

Every time I run at this speed and pace, I remember the Australian professional runners who trained me. I would never expect that this training would become such a pleasure later in my life. I did suffer a lot with them … :)!
