I managed to jailbreak and to desimlock the old Iphone 3G that my sister gave to me a while ago. The process is well documented on the web. Also, for 20 euros, you can get it done at some shops. I had problem with the old computer that did not recognize the Iphone USB port during the rebooting into the DFU mode.
Besides the usual stuffs, websurfing, mail, youtube, etc… you can also watch movies, play games, read books, read comics on the Iphone. The interesting part is how to do it for FREE. I wanted to do it all using the current Itune’s capabilities and of course using other illegal applets. The hardest thing with the Iphone is how to get files on the Iphone at the right location so that the required applet can open these files.
