1 positive: a head hunter asked me if I wanted to work as a junior risk analyst for a Bank, AIB. I said yes and I am guessing he will send my CV to the Bank for further consideration. I was all excited about it!
1 contact: Dan, another swimmer, who is working for Alcatel-Lucent, asked me to send him my CV. He has forwarded it to his colleague for further consideration.
1 reply: Another head hunter asked me if I would like to work in other area than actuary. I applied for a trainee actuary position. She said I do not have the experience and the background but she is willing to work with me on something else. I said I would go for anything related to maths and finance.
Nothing to do but to wait and keep fingers crossed.
