Teaching is very rewarding intellectually because you transmit knowledge to another mind. If students want to learn, it makes the process very enjoyable. Working in the private sector was challenging because it seemed that nobody wanted to learn; everyone just wanted to get their paycheck and go home to do what they really wanted to do.
