I am much happier nowadays; self-control was key to mental health. I know when I am happy or healthy and can safely interact with others. My mind seems to send out raw emotions whenever I am hurt or not mentally fit. Many things do not matter to me any longer since I have no control over them. Talking or stressing about them won’t improve my personal life, so I’ve learned to ‘let them go and avoid them’.
