My stomach autoregulates itself quite nicely these days, it does not want to go below 56 kgs and it reminds me of the starvation state quite effectively every 2 weeks. I do not force myself, I just stay alert on what to eat to remain healthy. It is hard to keep up with diversity and quality of food intake, it is easier to control quantity.
A full fiber diet (for example a lot of fruits all day long) can easily help avoiding high calory stuff and maintain the stomach in check, it tricks the stomach into thinking it is full however there is a lot of flatulence following these diet.
