What most people do not know about french law is: you can sue any company yourself for an amount of money below 10 000 Euros (or even higher). Most companies are afraid of the court because they would simply loose time and money defending themselves and most of the time they are wrong!

However you have to do it right:

  1. write a letter of formal notice containing the complaint and the law (case number) asking for a legal response within 8 days.
  2. The prejudice caused by the company according to the law.
  3. the proof against the company, it has to be simple and obvious.
  4. The complaint in court, usually the company will try to find a solution at this point.

And you do not need a lawyer to do all this and it is FREE!
