Albums’ scans
Vuescan is a useful program that allows very fast and easy manipulations of my HP Office 8600 multi-functions printer/scanner. I just wanted to finish the scanning of the old photos. The printed photos are scanned at the highest resolution possible: 4200 dpi. Each file is about 150 Megabytes.
Flickr allows some nice photo manipulations with automatic zooming and it allows to check everyday detail on a single screen. I am gladly surprised with these improvements. Some photos are blurred however it has nothing to do with the scanning but with the original picture itself.
