I just want to show my brother how much it costs him to get professional help instead of talking to banks directly for FREE. Indeed, 2 banks immediately accepted my proposal to align themselves to the current lowest rate 2.7%. They always propose by default a higher rate.
Taux (%) 2.7 2.8 2.9 3
Cost 20496 21161 21831 22502
Broker’s gain 0 665 1335 2006
The bank will pay the professional each 0.1% they are making from my brother who will pay it back through the rate each month.
So the professional’s advice to my brother: “do not talk to banks directly and let me do my job”. I surely would give the same advice if it was my job.
