Getting Colder!
After the heat last week, the weather has been colder over the weekend. I quickly recovered from a very minor cold which triggered a sore throat. It disappeared promptly. Still no news on the job side, probably because I have not sent many applications yet. I am aiming more towards the IT side. I am also going through my 30’s crisis. As many of my crisis in life, they usually come late. I am feeling more lost than ever before. I have no real idea about what I want to do.
I watched two movies: Knowing and One Week. Coincidently both are about death that comes too early yet as a certainty. I was a bit deceived by the ending of Knowing and was rather relieved by the other one, not as dramatic as usual! I also saw the trailer for Avatar, Cameron’s new Sci-Fi Flick. I liked it very much. It starts on December 16 2009 though.
I am very annoyed by my astigmatism as it does not allow me to concentrate too long on a screen to read. I cannot wait to get this problem fixed. The apointment is for September 07. I am wondering why my savings do not go down. The funny thing with this economical crisis and the fact I had money in Australian dollars created a strange phenomenon. When I had more savings, the Euro was high so I had less euros when I did the conversion. Now the trend is opposite and with less savings, the conversion rate is in my favor. Also because I live with my parents, I do not pay rent as I should. I still contribute as I do not want to be dependant.
